The colour is deep red. On the nose you get prominent notes of ripe cherries and chocolate. The mid-palate is chunky with intense flavours of cherries, plums, bitter espresso and a pleasant, dry finish of black pepper and dark chocolate. Food Pairing: Very versatile with food. This Merlot goes well with braai meats, steak, meaty pastas, smoked chicken and pork.
