Located on the slopes of the Olifantsberg Mountain, our vineyards thrive naturally in the shale, schist and sandstone-based soil. Our main focus is producing wines that capture our unique location, diverse soils and natural expression of our vineyards. Our vineyards produce grapes which culminate in wines with alluring purity of fruit and elegance. Traditional oak casks, oval foudres and egg shaped vessels are used alongside trusted French oak barrels – a small portion being new wood each year.

Winemaker Elizma Visser loves the wines she makes, and has made it her ambition to translate the shale-soiled and windy terroir of the Breedekloof into pure and elegant wines.

They always aim to have a natural approach as far as possible to ensure a true expression of the vineyards and minimal intervention throughout the lifetime of the wines.
