Description
The most sold wine in the Hartenberg portfolio, now celebrating 28 vintages. Brightness of fruit, lifted aromatics of red fruits, earth, wood spice, truffles and fruit cake. Lovely juicy fruit on palate entry, flowing into an elegant mid-palate loaded with flavour, more spicy notes and friendly, dry tannins.
Food Pairing: Pizza with all its various toppings (but not too much chilli), all traditionally prepared meat dishes (i.e. stews and grills), grilled or roasted game fish (ideally without a lemon based sauce). For pudding, pears in red wine will find a partner with this versatile wine.
